Wounded Veteran Program
Assistance Dogs have been providing comfort, courage and help to wounded veterans since 2001. Service Dogs assist a wide range of veterans, including those with physical disabilities as a result of combat injuries. Facility Dogs help hundreds of veterans each day, including those with physical disabilities, amputations and PTSD. Social Therapy Dogs serve as home companions for those veterans needing help readjusting to life after deployment. Assistance Dogs Northwest is proud to serve the men and women who bravely serve our country. If you are veteran, you can apply for an Assistance Dog.
